Hand Penned Holidays and My Fur Baby!!

Hello Blog World!! I am so excited for this years Holiday Mini; it is jammed pack with wonderful new stamp sets for the upcoming Holidays and new products. I recently sold all my retired stamps thanks to one woman in Elk Grove and was able to purchase some fun new stuff. My new purchase included the new stamp set Hand-Penned Holidays and I made the card that was featured in the mini for this set... what do you think?

I absolutely love the medallion background stamp, so when I saw the sample in the mini I know I had to recreate the card. Using versa mark ink I stamped the medallion on certainly celery card stock and heat embossed using clear powder. Then I stamped the "Give Thanks" from the new perfectly penned set on very vanilla card stock using early espresso ink, embellished with ribbon and created the scallop border using the same color. I also ordered the boho blossoms punch and punched those cute little flowers out of coordinating paper. The base of the card is so saffron and I added a touch of elegance with the pearls. Thanks Stampin UP for a great design... I love this card. Email me if you want any of the products used in this card. The Hand-Penned Holidays set will be available September 1st.

Last weekend, Roni and I went to watch her nephew's first practice game -- he's playing high school football and then we went to my Grandmas. I volunteered Roni to power wash her patio. The power washer was in the back of the car with Zoe and on a turn it feel over and scared Zoe so much she hoped up front with me. The entire trip to Fairfield she rode in the front with us, so I took a picture. Here is my cute little baby...

Hope you all have a great weekend... mine starts today at 4 p.m. I am off of work tomorrow and plan on hanging out with my mom and then in the evening we are going to see Miss Saigon. I am really looking forward to seeing it and no worries I will be more than happy to use my mediocre English skills and write a review on it. Then Saturday we are going to watch Roni's nephew first game and then I am devoting the rest of the weekend to cleaning and stamping. Although, I'd love to go bowling... Roni, I hope you read this :).

Happy Stamping!!
